About Me
Leslie Savage
I am a certified Focusing-oriented therapist with a Master of Science degree in Psychology for Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in Medical Family Therapy. My private practice is in Edmonds, Washington.
In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am a certified teacher of Focusing and offer guided Focusing sessions. Focusing is a gateway to the felt sense, the Divine love that permeates both the material and spiritual realms. My training in Marriage and Family Therapy is integrated with my understanding as I companion people seeking to know themselves and the Divine goodness in all.
We are all on this wisdom path, awake to it or not, as Life takes us on a journey: to move through the early stages of emotional healing and maturity; to face the negative internal messages of our shadow that obscure our inner light and the innate goodness in us and others; to wake up consciously by slowing down and attending to our body and soul and discover who we truly are in relation to the larger universe; and to follow our calling to love and serve humanity with the gifts given to us. I have personally benefitted from Focusing and want to offer it to others as a healing practice to maintain emotional well-being, inner harmony, and acceptance of others.

We are all on this wisdom path, awake to it or not, as Life takes us on a journey: to “grow up” by moving through the early stages of emotional healing and maturing; to “clean up” by facing our shadow that obscures our inner light and the Divine goodness in us and others; to “wake up” by engaging in spiritual contemplation as we seek God and discover who we truly are; and, to “show up” by following our calling to love and serve humanity with the gifts given to us by Divine love. I have personally benefitted from Focusing and make it available to others as a spiritual practice to maintain emotional well-being, inner harmony, and acceptance of others.
On a personal note, I am married - my husband and I have been together for 40 years and raised three sons. We have 4 grandchildren. I enjoy outdoor recreation: hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, bicycling, and downhill skiing. I love to travel, enjoy yoga, and find joy and unity in Focusing.
